I. NATURE TALES
There’s nothing more powerful than storytelling to connect us and make sense of our world. Introduce our topic with our read-aloud, Dasher by Matt Tavares, and related discussion.

II. DISCOVER
Enrich your understanding as we begin to explore what reindeer look like, their life cycle, communication, and map their migration with our illustrated lesson guides, vintage watercolor posters, and a variety of activities. Play a game that will have you talking like a reindeer and make Reindeer Castanets.

III. INVESTIGATE
Bring out your ‘looking glass’ and delve deeper into reindeer adaptations for their polar habitat. Complete an insulation experiment, sleigh design engineering challenge, and demonstrations to understand why reindeer eyes change color from golden brown to blue!

IV. POETRY & ARTS
